Accessibility Plan

Saskatchewan Polytechnic is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible learning and working environment for all students, employees and visitors. Accessibility was identified as a priority in our Inclusive Excellence: Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Reconciliation Strategy 2025-2030

Accessible Excellence: Building an Inclusive Future 2026-29 outlines the actions we will take over the next three years to remove barriers and improve accessibility across our campuses and online spaces.

This plan was developed in consultation with our community and reflects our dedication to meeting the requirements of The Accessible Saskatchewan Act 2023 and advancing equity for people with disabilities.

Key priorities

  • Weaving accessibility and inclusion into all areas and levels of our institution.
  • Designing and maintaining physical and digital spaces to remove barriers and promote accessible experiences.
  • Providing accessibility services, supports and resources that are timely, equitable and responsive to diverse needs.
  • Demonstrating our commitment to equity and inclusion through visible leadership and sustained oversight over accessibility.
