Additional information

1. Are you (or will you be) eligible for an Education and Training Benefit from Veterans Affairs Canada?

Veteran Affairs Canada (VAC) has Education and Training Benefits available up to $81,920 depending on your years of service. Courses must be approved by VAC. Students are not eligible to receive money for courses you have already taken.  Learn more about the Education and Training Benefit.

2. Has your CAF training already been assessed for credit toward an academic program?

Sask Polytechnic is undertaking a pilot project to map courses from the School of Business to military training using the National Advanced Placement and Prior Learning (N-APPL) portal. This is currently under development, but in the meantime you can find out more from the National Advanced Placement and Prior Learning

3. Is a Sask Polytech program equivalent to CAF training requirements?

Sask Polytechnic is working towards having our programs assessed for equivalency with the Canadian Armed Forces – Accreditation Certification Equivalency (CAF-ACE) program. This is a work in progress and new programs will be added to this database as they are certified. Learn more about the Accreditation Certification Equivalency.
