Our dedicated Indigenous student advisors are friendly faces on each campus. They support Indigenous student success by:
- Building supportive relationships
- Orienting to Saskatchewan Polytechnic and surrounding community
- Referring to tutorial support
- Organizing study groups, informational, social and cultural events
- Assisting with funding through scholarships, awards and for emergencies to meet urgent needs
- Assisting with housing, budgeting and employment information
- Connecting to outside resources and networks
- Collaborating with instructors, program heads and deans
- Hosting the Wîcihitowin Transition Program that is open to all registered Indigenous students to help prepare for student life
