×Chris Knoop
Chris has represented the fitness industry for over 10 years in the province of Saskatchewan.
He holds a Kinesiology Degree from the University of Regina, and is a Canadian Society
for Exercise Physiology Certified-Personal Trainer (CSEP-CPT).

×Duane Banman
Duane’s education includes a degree in Anatomy from the University of Saskatchewan,
registered massage therapist from the Western College of Remedial Massage Therapy
and recognition with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) as a Certified
Exercise Physiologist. He has worked at Sask Polytech for 10 years and he’s been involved
in the health and fitness industry for just over 30 years.

Kelly Wells

× Kelly Wells
Kelly is a Kinesiology Graduate from the University of Saskatchewan. He has been coaching
and training every day and elite athletes since 1998. Kelly has been teaching with
Sask Polytech for the past 10 years.

×Grant Turner
Grant combined a bachelor’s degree studying the Social Determinants of Health and
a passion for physical activity pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Performance
Training from Sheridan College, followed by a master’s in Human Movement from A.T.
Still University. It was when working with Muay Thai athletes (a martial art from
Thailand) as an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach that he began to be
fascinated by the underexplored connection between physical activity and mental health.
He was inspired to pursue a Graduate Diploma in Psychosocial Rehabilitation from Douglas
College and is now taking courses in Neuroscience at Dalhousie University.
"No topic is off limits. I am here for you and your wellness journey, wherever that
takes you! Consultations, personal training, group training and intramurals are all
a part of how he will try to enrich your experience here at Sask Polytech.”
