If you were educated as a registered nurse in a country other than Canada and you would like to practice nursing in Saskatchewan, please review the following recommendations:
- Contact your provincial nursing organization to begin the application process; in Saskatchewan, this is the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
- Begin courses right away to improve your English language skills if English is not your first language. Check with your company to see if they can provide English language training.
- If required by the CRNS to determine your nursing competencies, take the Substantive Equivalent Competency (SEC) Assessment.
