Both new and returning Sask Polytech students are invited to join our Winter Welcome social media contest!

Each winner will receive a swag package from the Sask Polytech Campus Store.

How to enter:

1. Post a photo from Winter Welcome Week (January 2 – 5, 2024) on your Instagram account. 
2. Include the hashtag #SaskPolytechWinterWelcome or #SaskPolytechStudentExperience in your caption.
3. Tag @SaskPolytechStudents in your post, or share the post to your story and tag @SaskPolytechStudents (doing both will only count as one entry).
4. Follow @SaskPolytechStudents.

The contest runs from January 2 until January 10, 2024.

Three winners will be chosen randomly and notified through their Instagram DMs from the @SaskPolytechStudents account on Thursday, January 11. Winners will have one week (until 5 p.m. on January 18) to reply and claim their prize. 

Contest Rules:

1. No purchase required.
2. To collect a prize, entrants will be required to answer a skill-testing question.
3. The contest is open to residents of Saskatchewan enrolled in a Saskatchewan Polytechnic program during the contest dates.
4. Saskatchewan Polytechnic employees are not eligible to participate in the contest.
5. This contest is not open to residents of Quebec.
6. Each entrant may only submit one entry.
7. The odds of winning this contest will depend upon the total number of entries.
8. The Prize(s) will be awarded without consideration for regional allocation. Available prizes will decrease as they are awarded.
9. By participating in this contest, entrants consent to the collection and use of their personal information by Saskatchewan Polytechnic, including name, address, telephone number, social media handles, social media posts, and any images submitted by the entrant by participating in the consent.  This personal information will be used to assess contest entries, to select and contact winners, to award prizes and for administration, marketing and promotional purposes. Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Privacy Policy is available online.
10. Each winner must provide a mailing address and proof of Saskatchewan Polytechnic enrolment to receive a prize.

   2. By choosing to participate in this contest, entrants agree to release Instagram from all claims which may arise by virtue of their participation.
   3. There is a limit to one entry per Instagram account/handle. Multiple Instagram entries from one person will not be accepted.
   4. Entrants shall not:
      • inaccurately tag content as part of participating in this contest;
      • tag other individuals as part of any Instagram post made as part of entering this contest;
