Fitness Centre

Located in room 127, our fitness centre is fully equipped with everything you need. Treadmills, elliptical machines, spin, upright and recumbent bikes, Air bikes, VERSA climbers, various weight machines, free weights, barbells, kettlebells, squat cage, various benches, TRX and more.

Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Memberships are valid from July to June. 









How do I purchase my membership? Recreation Services Room 127. We accept credit and debit.

  • All membership holders and users are to be over the age of 16. No children or youth under 16 are to be in the fitness centre.
  • All membership prices are before tax*
  • Affiliate memberships are only valid under current staff/faculty and student memberships.

You'll always find a free one. You chart your fitness course. We'll be the compass. Contact us to book yourself in for a free program consultation and design.

By appointment, a fitness consultation is available to answer your questions and assist with workouts during the school year. A small group or individual orientation to the fitness centres can also be arranged. Contact us for more information.

Fitness consultation and personal program development is available at these rates:

  • Employees and students - included with current fitness membership
  • Affiliates and alumni - $25 per 1-hour session

Fitness assessments and appraisals available. This will be a 1 hour session that is to be booked in advance. The fitness Appraisal will be based off of the CSEP-PATH method and will include sub-maximal aerobic testing, Musculoskeletal testing (Grip Strength, Push up, sit and reach, Vertical jump, back extension and one-leg stance) and Body composition (Height, Weight, BMI and waist circumference).

Fitness assessments are available at these rates:

  • Employees and students - included with current fitness membership
  • Affiliates and alumni - $50 per 1-hour session

Class Descriptions


These classes are designed to burn calories, increase lean muscle mass and tone the body. Instructors will introduce strength, flexibility, and various conditioning techniques to motivate and challenge your body and mind. Cardio, strength, balance and flexibility will be challenged in these classes. 

Strength and Intervals

This class will have a specific format: Warmup, Strength Circuit and Intervals for Conditioning. This class is ideal for all fitness levels looking to improve strength and conditioning. It will focus on functional movements using highly research HIIT protocols using a variety of equipment such as Kettlebells, Dumbbells, Barbells, TRX and more. This class is fun and challenging for all levels.

Morning Booster (Tuesday) and Morning Booster with Spin (Thursday)

Healthy and safe strength and conditioning focusing on body weight movements and balance.

Dynamic Spin

This is an all out spin class focused on fun and overall body conditioning .

Circuit (30 minute)

This is a 30min in and out circuit workout designed for those wanting a quick full body workout. This workout is for any fitness level as it can be adapted for all participants.

Class Descriptions

Learn basic yoga postures, breathing and meditation techniques in this non-threatening class designed to help you relax and cope with the stresses of daily living. This class is for beginners and those who already practice yoga.

Pilates Mat Class

Pilates focuses on core strength conditioning. Emphasis is on breathing and body awareness. If you are looking for a class that complements your cardio workouts or athletic training, try this.

Pilates Reformer

In this class you will use the reformer to build on exercises learned in the mat class

Beginner Yoga
