Word Introduction (COAP-1618)

This course is intended for people new to Microsoft Word and is designed to help you obtain the basic skills required to create professional looking letters and memos. You will learn to create, edit, format, print and review short documents. You will learn to apply basic page, paragraph and character formatting options, create a document from a template, insert pictures and clip art, create a simple table and merge a mailing list to produce labels. Hands-on exercises will allow you to practice these skills. You will receive a manual for your future reference. Prerequisite: Basic computer skills or PC Basics class.
