The Women in Trades Exploratory Workshop is a hands-on, one weekend workshop for women 16+ offering an introduction to a variety of basic carpentry skills and tools. You will learn to use a variety of hand and power tools safely, creating a project that you can take home. The workshop provides women with: Non-credit post-secondary training/education and the options of employment potential in trades. A realistic introduction to the physical, emotional, and academic requirements of training/education and employment in Carpentry. CSA approved steel toed safety boots are required for this workshop.
