Two-Day Carpentry Workshop (CARP-1405)
The Women in Trades Carpentry Workshop is a hands-on, one weekend workshop for women 16+ offering an introduction to a variety of basic carpentry tools and skills. The workshop provides women with: Non-credit post-secondary training/education and employment potential in trades. A realistic understanding of the physical, emotional, and academic requirements of training/education and employment in trades. Shop sessions include: Carpentry - you will learn how to read a basic blueprint and measure and cut required materials. You will learn to safely use many common carpentry tools to make your own bathroom cabinet.
