Truth and Reconciliation is an important educational, political, and social concept in Canada due to the work and commitment of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. This course will increase awareness and understanding of the history and legacy of residential schools in Canada, as well as how despite those systems that deliberately affected First Nation people they persevere and are resilient.
