Your studies will focus on fundamentals of refrigeration, refrigerants, refrigeration systems, equipment, troubleshooting, repairing systems, safety regulations and plant operation. This course is intended to prepare students to write the Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan exam for the Refrigeration Engineer’s Certificate. Successful course completion also earns 6 months of qualifying work experience time credit from TSASK. Passing the TSASK exam and 1 year of time credit is required to earn your TSASK Refrigeration Engineer’s Certificate. Provincial testing is not included.
