You will study the principles of quality assurance in dental radiography. You will learn about the risks associated with radiation and how to protect yourself and others from unnecessary exposures. You will learn about image characteristics and the influencing factors that affect quality assurance. Both film based and digital imaging systems are discussed as well as the quality assurance tests that are recommended in the Saskatchewan Dental Radiography Quality Assurance Manual.
