Practical Skills Assessment (PHAR-1801)

This course is for candidates (non-graduates  and graduates from CCAPP accredited pharmacy technician programs) with previous experience in a pharmacy setting who have been working for more than 2000 hours in the past 3 years. The course is an assessment of the candidate’s competence in completing various activities that fall within the pharmacy technician’s scope of practice (as listed by the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities), completed within a direct patient care practice setting (may be candidate's current practice site) approved by Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Candidates have 12 weeks from the date they register to complete the course.
