Power Engineering, Fifth Class (ENGP-1801)

This 78 hour course focuses on building operations in commercial and institutional facilities. Steam and hot water boilers, refrigeration equipment, pumps, heating systems, water treatment and quality control in boilers and cooling systems will be covered.  This course is intended to prepare students to write the Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan(TSASK) Fifth Class exam, Successful course completion earns students 6 months qualifying time credit but an additional 6 months is required before TSASK certificate is awarded. Provincial testing is not included – contact TSASK to book the certification exam.
