Power Eng/4 Class Power Lab 2 (ENGP-1803)
You will manipulate steam production with the purpose of operating turbines, heat exchangers, pumps and auxiliary fuel systems in a functioning high pressure steam lab. The lab will allow you to bring all of your previously learned theory and skills from 4th Class Power Engineering Power Lab 1 together in order to validate your knowledge and operating skills. You will receive hands-on training on plant maintenance tasks (including the construction of piping systems and shaft alignment. You will have the opportunity to run a piping system using simulation. Completion of Power Labs 1 & 2 earns you 6 months qualifying time credit towards your 4th class TSASK certification. Space is limited. To increase your chances of obtaining a seat in the ENGP 1803 Power Lab 2 course, please register by phone on or after July 4, 2016.
