Power Eng/4 Class Power Lab 2 (ENGP-1803)
If you have completed Power Engineering Lab 1, this course is the second half of the required training. Both labs must be taken at the same location. In this interactive lab, you will learn the operation of major components and receive hands-on training of a steam plant.
Completion of Power Engineering 4 Class Lab 1 and 2 will provide the necessary experience to earn 6 month's qualifying time credit from Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan (TSASK.) The 6 months of qualifying-work-experience-time credit can only be used in conjunction with an approved course. If you have a degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent, as recognized by the chief inspector), you only need the power lab courses to earn all qualifying time required.
Prerequisite: Power Lab 1.
