Machine Shop: CNC 3 Axis Mill. (MACH-1805)
This course covers programming a CNC vertical machining center. Basic to advanced techniques are taught as well as programming methods. Practical experience will be derived from programming using ISO G-code based language to do: Facing, profiling, drilling, countersinking, tapping, thread milling. Tool radius compensation is covered by both calculations and automatic compensation. You will also learn how to apply the various drilling, boring and tapping canned cycles.
Prerequisite: Previous machining experiences preferred.
