This course will provide hands-on experience in machine set-up and operation with the focus on machine operation. Practical experience will be derived from programming using ISO G-code based language and creating the following external shapes: grooves, radii, straight threads, tapers and shouldered shafts. Internal lathe operations will be demonstrated. Pre-requisite: Previous machining experiences preferred.
