Gas Fitter General (PIPE-1802)

Instruction focuses on Gas installations and applications with gas loads over 400,000 BTUH. Pre-requisite is Journeyperson status in one of these trades: Plumber, Pipefitter, or Refrigeration Mechanic, and a Saskatchewan Domestic Gas endorsement. Before applying for this course, candidates should apply to write the General Gasfitter Licensing exam with the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC). SATCC will issue a letter stating eligibility for this course. Upon successful completion, students can arrange to write the provincial licensing exam for Commercial gas certification with the SATCC.    PRE-REQUISITE:  SATCC Letter of Eligibility, this document must be uploaded at time of online registration. You must register online for this course. Students need current versions of B149.1, B149.2, and B144.3 and Dutton resource books will be loaned over the course duration.
