Gas Fitter Domestic/RefrigMech (PIPE-1803)
Instruction focuses on Gas installations and applications with gas loads capped at 400,000 BTUH. Pre-requisite is a Journeyperson status in the Refrigeration trade. Before applying for this course, candidates should apply to write the Domestic Gasfitter Licensing exam with the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC). SATCC will issue a letter stating your eligibility for this course. Upon successful completion of this program, students can then arrange to write the provincial licensing exam for Domestic gas certification with SATCC.
PRE-REQUISITE: SATCC Letter of Eligibility, this document must be uploaded at time of online registration. You must register online for this course. Students need current versions of B149.1, B149.2, and B144.3 and Dutton resource books will be loaned over the course duration.
