Gas Fitter Domestic/Refrigeration Mechanic (PIPE-1803) Instruction focuses on Gas installations and applications with gas loads capped at 400,000 BTUH. Pre-requisite is a Journeyperson status in the Refrigeration trade. Before applying for this course, candidates need to apply to write the Domestic Gasfitter Licensing exam with the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC). SATCC will then issue you a letter stating your eligibility for this course, which is required before you apply. REQUIRED: Current versions of the CSA codes B149.1, B149.2, and B149.3 are required beginning the first night of the course. These are available for purchase through www.saskpolytech.ca/bookstore. Dutton resource books will be available on loan through the program and will be provided to students the first night of the course.
