Foundations of Sociology (SOCI-160CE)

You will examine how to practice sociology, and learn about the importance of culture and socialization. You wil discuss social inequality in Canada, the power of mass media and the dualism of sex and gender. You will examine race, ethnicity, social control, and deviance. Your studies will also include a discussion of collective behaviour, social movements, and social change.
