You will have an opportunity to write an electronic exam consisting of seven mini exams with 22 questions per mini exam. This comprehensive exam provides an overview of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic HIM diploma program, which is a Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA) recognized HIM program. You will study the following seven competencies: biomedical science, health information science, health information analysis and presentation, technology and health information, access, privacy and security, ethics and practice and the healthcare system in Canada.
