Fibre Technology (MANU-1806)

Students will learn how to process raw materials to produce natural fibres and characterize them for product development. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of the agricultural/ animal/man-made fibres, their structure, composition, properties, process equipment and the layout of plant equipment, processing, quality control, and application. Laboratories will allow students to gain a practical understanding of fibre processing and product manufacturing equipment and function.
