Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (NURS-1672)
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is an evidenced based therapy that is effective in coping with many problems in daily living and mental health disorders.
In this course you will describe the philosophy of counselling using CBT, discuss cultural safety related to CBT, and describe the CBT process. You will demonstrate the application of the cognitive behavioural model in a related care study assignment.
Prerequisite: LPN/RN (You will be required to provide your license number at the time of registration.)
