This four-day course examines wastewater treatment/collection mathematics, preliminary treatment, primary treatment, secondary treatment, activated sludge processes, sludge treatment, solids disposal, wastewater hydraulics, pumps and components, wastewater hydraulics, wastewater collection operation and maintenance, backflow and cross-connection control, wastewater disinfection, and safety. Students will write the Class 2 provincial certification exams to meet the requirements of the Saskatchewan Operator Certification Board.
