Chef's Academy (CAMP-1811)
Ages 10-14 Half Day Camp - Want to take your cooking skills to the next level? This advanced camp starts with a review of food prep, kitchen safety and cooking techniques with our expert instructors. Then, you’ll move on up to soups, sauces and braising, recipe development, flavour layering, ethnic dishes, decoration and presentation. Of course, your hat and apron are yours to take home, along with your new skills and great recipes.
NOTE: Please notify us if your child has any food allergies, and we’ll do our best to make substitutions. Children must wear closed-toed shoes (running shoes) in the kitchen and have their hair tied back.
Learning Outcomes: Building friendships and social skills, developing resiliency and confidence, continuing education in the summer, safe food handling and preparation.
