You will study introductory concepts of budgeting theory and practice. The focus will be on the differences between budgets in different organizations and techniques for building basic operating budgets with teaching activities and in-class exercises. You will also be introduced to basic Cash Flow and Capital budgets. Upon completing this course, you should be able to do a budget for a small business or single department of a larger organization. A working knowledge of Excel is required.
