Bioplastic Materials (MANU-1803)

Students will learn different polymer materials, additives, their properties and characteristics, processing parameters. They will also learn how to select appropriate polymer and additives for bioplastic product manufacturing. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of classification of plastic materials, bioplastics, processing aids, fillers, additives, reinforce materials and their properties and usage. Laboratories will allow students to gain a practical understanding of bioplastic and polymer materials and its properties.
