You will begin by learning the AutoCAD® user interface. Your studies will include drawing set-up, co-ordinate systems, drawing tools, editing commands, display options, blocks and symbols, layers, colours and line types, as well as basic text, dimensioning and plotting. You will learn inquiry commands, crosshatching, introduction to grips and a demonstration of some additional features. You should expect to spend an additional 2 to 4 hours per week to become proficient with these applications.
