This course is designed to familiarize service technicians with the operation, servicing and troubleshooting procedures of air brake systems, including ABS systems. Detailed instruction will be provided in the application of air brake systems presently used in the industry. Operational air brake boards will be utilized for practical training. Successful completion is recognized by the Vehicle Standards and Inspection Divisions and is also a requirement for Vehicle Inspection Certification (70% required for credit).
