Your studies will focus on the basics of membrane filtration in water treatment. You will become familiar with the operation and maintenance of a reverse osmosis system. You will also review the basics of THM and Arsenic removal techniques. This course is intended to prepare students to write the Provincial Operators Certification exam for Water/Wastewater Certification, but the course does not include the certification test. The certification test can be booked through the Sask Polytech Test Centre at saskpolytech.ca/testing.
