
Are you ready for work? Do you know what to expect or what employers will expect from you? Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Partners for Success program prepares you for the world of work through in-class and work-related training.
Partners for Success provides a 16-week targeted employment preparation and work-integrated training at the Regina campus. You will enjoy one-on-one support and small group learning. We collaborate with local businesses and industries to give you relevant learning and work-integrated training.
Program overview
- All programs run Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- You earn industry required safety certifications.
- You gain work-integrated experience and references.
As a participant, you receive:
- Essential skill development (attitude, teamwork, motivation, adaptability, presentation, stress management, time management, accountability and confidence)
- Employability skills (reading, writing, numeracy, digital skills document use and communication)
- Simulation training to reflect workplace situations
- Career exploration based on current qualifications
- Increased familiarity with the local labour market and employment services
- Skills to confidently apply for jobs and attend interviews
- Resume, portfolio and interview experience
- Safety certificates provided based on participant’s needs
- Work experiences and/or community employer tours
- Continued coaching and support to transition to employment

Admissions
There is a limit of 20 participants chosen from among eligible candidates.
Criteria for application:
- All eligible applicants will be contacted and invited for an interview.
Tuition and fees
- Enrolment to our government-sponsored programs is free of charge.
- Full-time students may qualify for financial assistance through the Education and Training Incentive.
