Our international student advisors look forward to welcoming you on campus!
Get a head start on your learning journey. Our New International Student Welcome event, held on each campus, will provide you with the information you need to be successful in your program as you transition to your new life in Canada. The information at this event is specifically tailored to the unique needs of international students at Sask Polytech.
Join us to learn about:
- Immigration documents: study permit conditions and work eligibility
- Settling in Saskatchewan: Saskatchewan health card, SGI driver’s license and social insurance number (SIN)
- Studying: conduct and expectations
- Supports available to students
If you are able, we encourage you to attend the in-person welcome event. It’s one of the best ways to connect with fellow students, faculty and staff, and to get familiar with your campus. Lunch will be served during the session.
If you are not able to join us in person, you may register for the virtual session.
Pre-registration is required.
