The Indigenous Students’ Centres will be hosting vigils for hope and healing in support of James Smith Cree Nation and the town of Weldon, and their families, friends and communities. Vigils will include a smudging ceremony and prayers for James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon. There will be an opportunity for attendees to share thoughts, prayers and kind words to the families and communities that were affected by this tragedy. Counselors and Elders will be available for those seeking further supports.
