    Saskatchewan Polytechnic free online applied math course attracts students from around the world

    August 20, 2018 – Since its inception in 2015, the Applied Trade Math MOOC offered by Saskatchewan Polytechnic has attracted nearly 1,000 students from around the world. The self-paced, non-credit course focuses on mathematical concepts commonly used in skilled trades and apprenticeship programs.

    July 25, 2018 – Last fall, Paul Carter joined Saskatchewan Polytechnic as dean for the School of Construction and School of Transportation, based out of the Saskatoon campus. Since joining Sask Polytech, Carter has developed licensing agreements to offer online training for construction and transportation courses, bringing Sask Polytech programming to students at other Canadian college or polytechnic institutions.

    June 6, 2018 –Northwest Community College (NWCC) and Saskatchewan Polytechnic instructors are working together to deliver the Warehouse Worker program through a blended classroom that includes two-way video conferencing and online training to Indigenous students in Prince Rupert. Students will be required to complete training activities online outside of the virtual classroom.

    Fleming College and Saskatchewan Polytechnic partnership expands construction and transportation online offerings for Ontario students

    Communications and Marketing - May 10, 2018

    May 10, 2018 – Fleming College and Saskatchewan Polytechnic have entered into a new partnership to offer online programs and courses throughout Ontario. The institutions recently signed a five-year agreement to enable shared delivery of the Parts Management Technician certificate, Warehouse Worker certificate, Leadership Skills certificate, and Blue Seal training for the trades.
