We are all responsible header

3. What can you do about it?

Introduction

It is expected that conflict and tension will occur from time to time. Wherever possible and appropriate, Saskpolytech encourages an informal approach to resolve these situations.

If we have been offended, it's important to bring it to the attention of the other party to give them a chance to clarify or correct their behavior.

Whether intentional or not, sometimes our words or actions offend others. When that occurs, it's important to recognize the impact of our behavior and take responsibility for it. Owning our behavior might mean acknowledging the negative impact on the other party. It also might mean apologizing for what we have done. A sincere apology can go a long way to healing a relationship and getting back on track at work.
