The School of Computing and Digital Innovation and School of Creative Media, Arts and Sciences Indigenous student advisor (ISA) supports Indigenous students throughout their time at Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
Our ISA works with you to reduce barriers, support academic success and strengthen confidence from admission through graduation and beyond.
How we support you
We assist with program exploration, course planning, applications, registration and understanding academic policies. We support you as you transition into post-secondary learning and work with program heads and instructors to ensure appropriate supports are in place.
We connect you to learning and technical support, including study skills, writing support, exam preparation, help with Brightspace and mySaskPolytech.
We help you access financial and practical support such as scholarships, awards, bursaries, as well as referrals to counselling, accessibility and wellness services.
We also support career and future readiness by connecting you to internships, work placements, employment opportunities, mock interviews, soft skills development and entrepreneurship.
