A two-week program offered fully in English through the MBS School of Business, Montpellier Campus. Learning by doing approach, close to the Mediterranean Sea and a well balance between studying and leisure. The participants in this program will develop decision-making and managerial skills that are affected by cultural differences, often in subtle ways. Based on the specificities of French culture, the participants will identify and manage cultural situations with kindness and tolerance, allowing them to understand the interactions between cultural differences and the workplace.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Open to full-time students in the School of Business and Entrepreneurship programs.
Eligibility criteria:- International study abroad opportunities are open to all Saskatchewan Polytechnic students in good standing, enrolled in a Saskatchewan Polytechnic or collaborative partner’s certificate, diploma, degree, or post-graduate certificate program.
- The student must be a Canadian citizen or hold permanent resident status (*to be eligible to obtain funding).
- The student must have completed at least one semester of their program, have a minimum grade point average of 65% in the last term of studies, and be in good academic standing at the time of application.
- Only the applications from students who are in good academic standing have demonstrated the potential benefit of the travel experience, have fulfilled the eligibility criteria, and have submitted a complete application and supportive documents will be reviewed by the selection committee. Submission of a complete application does not guarantee a seat in the study abroad program.
- The selection committee will consider the following criteria in selecting the recipient:
- Essay of 250-500 words describing the purpose of travel and how it will benefit the student’s academic program and professional development.
- Program endorsement via completed International Mobility Participant Confirmation form (pdf).
- Engaging in credit-bearing courses in another country, participating in a student exchange, or participating in an international student competition.
- Student must agree to provide a report upon return that may be used internally or to the public for Sask Polytech promotional purposes.
- We might connect with current Sask Polytech instructors or student advisors to ask for a reference.
- The applicant must hold or be able to obtain valid travel documents (e.g., Passport and visa or study permit, if required).
- In the final selection stage, students might be invited to an interview with the selection committee.
Cost
Approximately $5,700 CAD.
