Athletics and Recreation in Moose Jaw

Athletics and Recreation in Moose Jaw

Our teams travel in Saskatchewan and Alberta to play:

  • Badminton
  • Basketball
  • Curling
  • Golf
  • Soccer
  • Volleyball

We compete in the Prairie Athletic Conference (PAC). Established in 1970, PAC provides a competitive league for post-secondary student athletes in Saskatchewan. Sask Polytech Moose Jaw Campus (formally STI) was one of the founding members of the PAC and 4 West Championships, which has evolved the Canadian College Athletic Association Championships.

Intramurals and Recreation Leagues

We offer sport-related activities to students, staff, alumni and spouses. The objective of the intramural program is to encourage participation, sportsmanship and socialization.

The leagues are designed to complement the intramural program. Where intramurals are class-based, low competition with short schedules and include volleyball and slow-pitch.

The recreation leagues are more competitive with longer schedules, such as hockey and curling. The recreation leagues are based on the participants sharing the cost with campus recreation.

Also, watch the calendar for special one-day activities.
