Basic Wound Care for LPNs (NURS-1638)

You will review principles of infection control, medical/surgical asepsis and the complications of wound care. Your studies will focus on suture and clip removal, surgical drains, dressings, wound irrigation and packing. You will demonstrate the procedures of wound care in a lab setting.
