A new academic year is here and Saskatchewan Polytechnic is excited to welcome students to campus!

Whether you're starting your first semester or returning for another year, these 10 tips can help you feel prepared and ready for what’s ahead.

1. Join orientation

Start your journey with confidence by choosing the orientation option that works best for you, including self-guided orientation, live Zoom sessions or in-person events.

2. Log into mySaskPolytech

mySaskPolytech is your personalized student portal for grades, online courses, email, tuition payments and other important student information.

3. Explore Student Services

Need support or want to know what’s available to you? Visit Student Services to explore resources that can support your student experience. You can also check the events calendar and connect with the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Student Association (SPSA) for student-led activities and events. 

4. Reduce commute anxiety

Visit our Parking and Transit page for information on transit, parking access, maps and fees. Student parking passes are available via the HonkMobile app for daily, weekly and monthly rates. 

5. Book a locker

Keep your belongings secure by reserving a locker. Learn more about locker rentals before the semester gets busy!

6. Make mental and physical wellness a priority

Build healthy habits into your routine! Check out the gym and meet with your campus Fit and Rec instructor for details on . Need someone to talk to but not sure where to start? Reach out to Student Well-Being and Counselling Services for personalized support and services tailored to your needs.

7. Shop the Campus Store

Find textbooks, supplies and Sask Polytech gear at the Campus Store. Shop online or visit in person on Regina and Saskatoon main campuses.

8. Connect with Library and Learning Services

Get ahead in your studies by connecting early with the Library and Learning Services. Discover the resources and support available to help you build confidence, stay on track and prepare for exams.

9. Register with Accessibility Services

If you require academic accommodations, register with Accessibility Services as soon as possible. The team will work with you to ensure equal access and identify solutions to help you succeed.
