Make your connection online and in-person at events October 23-26
Saskatchewan Polytechnic invites you to connect with your future at this year’s Open House events, October 23-26. You may even end up winning a $5,000 tuition credit.
To kick off this year’s event, we’ll be hosting a general information session on Zoom on October 23 at 5:30 p.m. There, you’ll learn more about what programs we offer and find out important information about how to apply, our comprehensive student services and opportunities to help finance your education through scholarships, awards and bursaries.
Over the three days following the kick-off session, each of the four campuses in Prince Albert (Oct 24), Regina (Oct 24), Moose Jaw (Oct 25) and Saskatoon (Oct 26) will offer a daytime Open House event from 1-3 p.m., geared for high school students, and an evening event from 6-8 p.m. for the general public. Prospective students are welcome to bring your friends and family—we even have sessions intended for parents and guardians!
In-person Open House events are your chance to tour one of our campuses, visit program booths, view special facilities, meet career counsellors, program heads and instructors, and ask questions about becoming a Sask Polytech student. “There’s no better way to find out more about what makes a polytechnic education unique, including work-integrated and hands-on learning,” says Laura Sperlie, director of Strategic Enrolment Management at Sask Polytech. “We have so many program options. If you’re not yet sure what direction you want to go, our faculty are experts in their fields and have strong connections to industry so they are well positioned to give you a practical view of career possibilities.”
Kendra Strong-Garcia, director of Student Experience and Learning Services, adds that Open House is about more than just programs: “Sask Polytech offers a truly supportive learning environment. There are more opportunities here than you can imagine and we look forward to showcasing the supports and services that will help you begin your learning journey.”

Attend an in-person Sask Polytech Open House event at any of our campuses between October 24 - 26, 2023, and apply to a Sask Polytech full-time program by February 15, 2023, to be eligible to win a $5,000 tuition credit. Four prizes of a $5,000 tuition credit will be awarded (one in each campus city).
