Saskatchewan Polytechnic and police services across Saskatchewan warn about phishing scam

January 31, 2020 – The Moose Jaw Police Service, Prince Albert Police Service, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service and Saskatchewan Polytechnic are advising the public about a fraud security alert.

Recently Saskatchewan Polytechnic became aware of phishing scams with the subject lines Document Pending or Saskatchewan Polytechnic – Time Jobs Opportunity.  If you receive either of these emails, please DO NOT click on any of the links, DO NOT open attachments and DO NOT reply to the message. Delete these phishing scam emails immediately.  

Two complaints of the above mentioned fraud are being investigated across the province, one by Moose Jaw Police Service and one by Regina Police Service.
