January 13, 2020 – The Moose Jaw Police Service and Saskatchewan Polytechnic are advising the public
about a fraud security alert.
Recently Saskatchewan Polytechnic became aware of phishing scams with the subject lines Document Pending or Saskatchewan Polytechnic – Time Jobs Opportunity. If you receive either of these emails, please DO NOT click on any of the links, DO NOT open attachments and DO NOT reply to the message. Delete these phishing scam emails immediately.
The Moose Jaw Police Service can confirm it has received one complaint of the above mentioned fraud and will be investigating. Members of the public with information are encouraged to contact us at the below mentioned number.
