The Saskatchewan Government has announced significant construction projects totaling $17 million at post-secondary institutions across the province. This includes
renovations to Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Moose Jaw Campus to increase usability and
safety for students, faculty and staff.
“Thank you to the Government of Saskatchewan for their $12 million investment in Saskatchewan
Polytechnic’s Moose Jaw Campus,” says Dr. Larry Rosia, president and CEO. “This money
will be used to renovate Construction, Electrical, Welding, Automotive and Civil Water
program areas and mezzanines.”
Renovations will make the mezzanines more adaptable to student and faculty’s changing
educational needs and will provide opportunity for future growth.
Construction is expected to begin this year and all projects will be completed by
the spring of 2022, supporting the province’s Growth Plan commitment to build strong
communities by investing $30 billion in infrastructure over the next decade.
