Make the most of your Canada 150!

July 1, 2017, marks Canada’s 150th anniversary. Gather up your friends and family and celebrate at one of the many events and happenings going on around Saskatchewan! Festivals, concerts, outdoor fun, stage performances, parades, fireworks and more — there’s something for everyone.

Moose Jaw

WDM, 50 Diefenbaker Drive

Churning 150 - Ice Cream Celebration: Try your hand at making ice cream the old-fashioned way, create some Canada Day crafts, see historic demonstrations and take part in a special Canada 150 scavenger hunt!

Prince Albert

Kinsmen Park

Concerts in the park start at 5:00 p.m. Performances include Laura Lee McFarlane, Black Rain, All Might Voice and Bombargo. The night will finish with a bang – don’t miss the fireworks!


Wascana Centre (Sask Legislative Building)

Be a part of a living flag! Meet at 1:00 p.m. on the west lawn in front of the Legislative Building to receive a free t-shirt and become part of the living flag!


Diefenbaker Park

Optimist Canada Day starts at 8:00 a.m. with a buffet breakfast and ends at 10:40 p.m. with fireworks! Don’t miss the celebration of the century with local music, cultural entertainment, educational displays and Platinum Blonde.
