Saskatchewan Polytechnic dinner leverages partnerships with employers

Annual business and industry dinner presented by Graham Group Ltd. hosted in Regina tonight

November 24, 2016 – Saskatchewan Polytechnic Business and Industry Dinners provide a valuable networking opportunity for students and provide employers with a chance to contribute to students’ success. Proceeds from the Business and Industry Dinners help fund Sask Polytech’s student awards program and provide more students with access to financial assistance.

At this year’s dinner, presented by Graham Group Ltd., Sask Polytech is sharing some big accomplishments. Research InfoSource Inc. recently ranked Sask Polytech at #1 for largest percentage of research revenue from industry and #10 for growth in research revenue. Dinner guests will also be hearing from Civil Engineering Technology alumnus Bruce Gilkes. Since graduating in 1987, Bruce’s career journey has been unique — he’s been a commanding officer in the Canadian Forces and is now the president and chief technology officer of one of Canada's Top 40 defense companies, C4i Consultants Inc.
“We continue to see success, through the accomplishments of our alumni, employer partnerships and applied research projects.
