New online booking system available for test centre users; Saskatoon’s centre moves to improved space

January marks new beginnings in many ways. For the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Test Centre, January will prove to be full of new adventures and new experiences for students in Saskatoon and across all of our campus communities.

Starting January 4, students will be able to book their exams in the test centre through a new online service. This means students will no longer have to call or email to book, cancel or change an appointment, but can do so online or on their mobile device.

“Moving to online booking of seats for tests will allow students to manage their booking needs more effectively and in a timely manner,” says Lisa Heron, manager, Testing and Language Services. “Students will also benefit from consistency of services provided at all campus locations as the booking processes will be the same regardless of the campus.”

In Saskatoon, January will also see the Test Centre moving out of the library area and into their own space.

“The new space provides more testing spaces for students with disabilities and is a more efficient use of space,” says Heron. “It will also allow staff to streamline their processes to be able to provide more effective customer service.”

The Test Centre will be making the big move starting January 3, with the new doors opening January 9. In the meantime, students can still book tests at the Saskatoon campus on January 5 and 6. To request an appointment in Saskatoon on either of these days, please do so by email: Saskatoon.Testing@saskpolytech.ca.
