Run. Walk. Roll. Swim. Together we can go the distance.

Get moving, be active and join us for a virtual trip around Saskatchewan Polytechnic campuses on our Cross Campus Challenge to inspire movement and help build Sask Polytech community! Over the month of September 1-30, you’ll accumulate as many km as you can to contribute toward the Sask Polytech community total. We’ll provide fun virtual markers along the way pointing out historic facts of each campus and city. With a total distance of 805KM, together we can tour to the campuses... how many times?

The Challenge

In this virtual challenge your goal is to get moving every day and track your kilometers for the month of September 1-30. We will begin our trek from Regina, the capital city of Saskatchewan, and head north from there. You will enter your total km tracked weekly to contribute to the Sask Polytech community accumulative total and be entered to win weekly and grand prizes.

Registration and kilometer logging

Registration for the Cross Campus challenge will open from June 15 - September 20, 2021.  The challenge starts on September 1, but it’s never too late to get moving. Register today!

To be eligible for the weekly prizes, weekly entries must be logged by 11:59 p.m. CST on Sunday of each week.  Your final tally must be logged by 11:59p.m. CST on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Review raffle rules for full details.

You will log your weekly KM total on this form weekly. You may choose to log your KMs in any combination during the week. i.e. daily, once a week.

The Definition of a week is Monday- Sunday for logging purposes. By logging your activity, you will receive an entry to win prize incentives.

Alumni include graduates of Saskatchewan Polytechnic or any of the institutions that preceded us going as far back as 1941 (SIAST, etc.), and individuals who completed their apprenticeship training or Adult Basic Education 10 or 12 through Sask Polytech.

Contest Rules

  1. No purchase required
  2. To collect a prize, entrants will be required to answer a skill-testing question.
  3. This contest is open to Saskatchewan Polytechnic students who are of the age of majority in Saskatchewan at time of entry.
  4. This contest is not open to residents of Quebec.
  5. To be eligible for the weekly prizes, entries must be logged by 11:59 p.m. CST on Sunday of each week. The Sunday dates are September 6, 13, 20, 27 of the year 2020. Each weekly submission counts as one entry for the weekly prizes.
  6. You are eligible to win one weekly prize per week.
  7. Each weekly submission also counts as one entry to win one of grand prizes.
  8. Your final tally must be logged by 11:59 p.m. CST on Wednesday September 30, 2021 to receive an additional entry for one of the grand prizes.
  9. Each entrant could reach a maximum of 5 entries in for grand prizes.
  10. The odds of winning this contest will depend upon the total number of entries.
  11. The Prize(s) will be awarded without consideration for regional allocation. Available prizes will decrease as they are awarded.
  12. Cross Campus Challenge may substitute a prize(s) of equal or greater value for the prize(s) detailed in the Promotion for any or no reason and without restriction.
  13. By participating in this contest, entrants consent to the collection and use of their personal information by Saskatchewan Polytechnic, including name, address, telephone number, social media handles, social media posts, and any images submitted by the entrant by participating in the consent.
