Thank you for taking time to learn more about the Faculty of Technology and Skilled Trades. Our faculty encompasses four schools, which include most of the engineering, technology and trades training at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Our future-forward programming is as diverse as the sectors we connect to—from agriculture and mining to technology, natural resources and renewable energy. We offer work-integrated learning and applied research opportunities that, along with dedicated faculty and staff, will help you to train, retrain or upskill you for a rewarding career that contributes to our province’s economic growth and a cleaner energy future.

By fostering strong industry connections, we ensure our curriculum is not only relevant to today's labor market but also anticipatory of future needs. Aligning with the federal government’s priority to combat climate change, we work with value-add sectors and the manufacturing, transportation, construction and trades industries that service them to support environmental practices and the training of a workforce that will be prepared to address the critical mission of environmental sustainability. Our Sustainability-Led Integrated Centres of Excellence—known as SLICE—focuses on solving complex sustainability challenges in collaboration with industry and community partners through applied research partnerships.

Our faculty and staff are experts in their fields who will support you in your academic growth and success. If you have already chosen a program in one of our schools, thank you for choosing Saskatchewan Polytechnic. I invite you to look through our school pages and follow the program links to learn more about our schools, programs and the SLICE applied research centre.
